How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your image

A photo, a poster, a brand visual: ideally large and sharp.

  2. 2

    Tick and frame

Pick the sizes for each network, then place the image in each one: covered areas are drawn.

  3. 3

    Download

One image per size, named with its dimensions, one by one or all in a ZIP.

Tips for sharp images with nothing cut off

  • Start from the largest image you have

A scaled-down image stays sharp, an enlarged one gets blurry. For a 4K YouTube thumbnail or a banner, start from at least 2560 px wide.

  • Keep text inside the visible areas

YouTube banners, Facebook covers, stories: part of the image is cropped or covered depending on the screen. The areas drawn in the tool show where text and logos belong.

  • Center profile pictures

They show as small circles: a well-centered face or logo, without thin text, still reads at 98 pixels.

  • Under 2 MB from your phone

YouTube rejects thumbnails over 2 MB uploaded from the app. Use the light thumbnail on your phone, the 4K one on a computer.

  • One size per spot

The same visual does not fit a story and a banner: frame each size on its own instead of stretching the image.

  • PNG for a logo full of text

Facebook suggests PNG for profile or cover photos with a logo or text. The tool creates high-quality JPEGs, great for photos.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize an image for social media?

Drop the image into the tool, tick the sizes you need for each network, frame each one by dragging and zooming, then download the images one by one or as a ZIP. Each file is named with its size.

What is the Instagram image size in 2026?

Instagram keeps up to 1080 px of width and accepts shapes from 1.91:1 to 3:4: 1080 × 566 landscape, 1080 × 1080 square, 1080 × 1350 portrait 4:5 and 1080 × 1440 vertical 3:4. Outside those shapes it crops the photo, according to its help center.

What is the Instagram story size?

A story or Reel is 9:16, so 1080 × 1920 px full screen. Meta suggests leaving about 14% at the top and 20% at the bottom free, where the account name and buttons sit: the tool draws these bands.

What is the Facebook cover photo size?

According to Facebook’s help center, a Page cover shows in 16:9 on one display and 2.4:1 on the other, aligned left, and must be at least 400 × 150 px. The tool creates it at 1920 × 1080 and draws the band visible in both, plus the profile picture spot at the bottom left.

What is the YouTube thumbnail size?

YouTube now recommends 3840 × 2160 px in 16:9 for videos and 2160 × 3840 px in 9:16 for Shorts, with at least 640 px. The file must be under 2 MB when uploaded from a phone, 50 MB from a computer, so the tool also offers a light 1280 × 720 thumbnail under 2 MB.

What YouTube banner size works on all devices?

The banner is 2560 × 1440 px recommended, at least 2048 × 1152, 6 MB at most. Only the middle shows everywhere: 1235 × 338 px at the minimum size, about 1544 × 423 px in the middle of a 2560 × 1440 banner. The tool draws that area.

What is the LinkedIn banner size?

For a personal profile, the background banner is 1584 × 396 px. For a company Page, the cover is 1512 × 256 px, 3 MB at most, and LinkedIn suggests keeping key details away from the edges, especially the bottom right corner.

What is the LinkedIn post image size?

LinkedIn recommends 1080 px wide, in a shape between 3:1 and 4:5, 5 MB at most: 1080 × 1080 square, 1080 × 1350 portrait. A link image is 1200 × 627 px.

What is the TikTok photo size?

Vertical 9:16, which TikTok recommends: 1080 × 1920 px. According to TikTok’s developer documentation, a photo is JPEG or WebP, 1080p and 20 MB at most.

What size should a profile picture be?

Facebook asks for 320 × 320 px for a Page, LinkedIn for at least 400 × 400 px. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube give no size, so the tool creates 320 × 320, 400 × 400 and 800 × 800 px. All show as circles, and the tool shows what the circle keeps.

What about inches?

Networks count in pixels, not inches. If your software asks for inches, it depends on the resolution: at 300 pixels per inch, 1080 px is 3.6 inches and 1920 px is 6.4 inches.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens in your browser: the image never leaves your device, and nothing is kept when you close the page.

Is it really free?

Yes: no sign-up, no watermark and no usage limit.
