Both work: Instagram lets you add them in the caption or in the comments of your post. For a post that is already live, edit its caption or add a comment.
Are the suggested hashtags trending right now?
They are picked by AI from your description, without reading live Instagram data. To check, search a hashtag in Instagram and look at the posts using it before you keep it.
Why don’t my hashtags show up?
First check that the account is public: posts from private profiles do not show on hashtag pages. Also check that no hashtag contains a space or a special character, and that you did not use more than five.
