LinkedIn Post Generator
Give your idea, your details and what you want it to do: you get two different LinkedIn posts, written from what you say, with nothing made up.
Free, no sign-up. Up to 25 requests a day.
How it works
- 1
Write your idea
With your details: a fact, a number, what you took from it. The post only builds on that.
- 2
Pick the goal and tone
Lesson, announcement, project, tips, opinion or hiring, and the length you want.
- 3
Read, then copy
Two versions, each with its character count. Add bold words if you like.
What makes a good LinkedIn post
A hook in the first line
LinkedIn’s creator guide puts it first: an engaging hook at the beginning of the post, then a concise message.
Your point of view
LinkedIn distributes generic posts with no clear point of view less widely. A real experience, a lesson, a stance: that is what people read.
Reviewed by you
LinkedIn’s help center asks you to review and edit anything written with AI. Add the detail only you know.
A real question
Ending with a precise question starts a conversation, which LinkedIn recommends too.
Not too salesy
LinkedIn’s help center advises against overly promotional posts. Share what you know; sales follow.
Frequently asked questions
How many characters can a LinkedIn post have?
Up to 3,000 characters, according to LinkedIn’s help center. Beyond that, LinkedIn suggests writing an article instead. The posts suggested here stay under that limit.
Where does LinkedIn cut a post with “see more”?
LinkedIn does not publish a number: people usually see only the first lines. That is why the first line of each post is written to make people read on.
Does LinkedIn allow posts written with AI?
Yes, but its help center asks that they keep your voice, point of view and experience, and that you review them before posting. Generic content is distributed less. This generator makes nothing up: add your details.
How do I add bold text to a LinkedIn post?
LinkedIn’s editor has no bold. Tap “Add bold text” under a post: it is copied and our formatter opens, where you pick the words.
How many hashtags should I use on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn gives no number. Tick the box to get two or three precise ones about the topic; without it, the post has none.
How often should I post on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn’s creator guide suggests aiming for 2 to 5 posts a week.
Is the generator free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no credit card. Each visitor gets 25 requests a day across all our text generators. Your idea is not kept.
